Andreas Loizou


Andreas Loizou trains people in business writing and communication skills. His clients are governments and financial institutions around the world, including the Bank of England, The London Stock Exchange, Hermes Investment Management and BNP Paribas.


Andreas qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PWC, worked as an equity analyst at Goldman Sachs and was a director of training at FT Knowledge for eleven years. He’s a visiting professor at Leeds University Business School and IE in Madrid.


Andreas has a First in English Literature and Linguistics from Leeds and a M.Phil from Cambridge. He’s a graduate of the Faber & Faber Novel Writing Academy. His first book, The Devil’s Deal, was published by FT Prentice Hall. It featured on the WH Smith Business Book Chart, was Pearson’s Business Book of the Month and has been translated into Chinese, Japanese, Korean and six other languages.


Andreas set up the Margate Bookie litfest, a social enterprise which encourages a love of reading. It started in a single room in a disused warehouse in 2015 and now has 10,000 visitors per year. All the money from this course supports this charity. 


He lives in Madrid with his daughter, Helena.
