In this lecture, we will use the “Personal CV web site” example to modify and to get hands-on experience,

you will gain familiarity with:

How the Wix Editor works

Menus and Pages - (Add/Rename/Delete a page)

Background (Color,Image, Videos)

Add text and change it properties

Add Interactive elements

You will use Wix Editor 3 main areas to modify the CV template to suite your need and to make it your own.

Assignment1 --Do it Yourself-Create your own CV

Description: You will build expertise with Wix Editor to develop the CV template and make it your own and ready for your web site.

This demo video shows what you will be doing with Wix Editor in the subsequent lectures of this section.

You will gain familiarity and hands-on experience with Wix Web Editor to 

Change the Home page Header, Footer and text properties.

You will be able to use  Wix Editor & see the capabilities it offers to modify the CV or any predefined template.  

You will be able to change the following layout design of your site:

1. Page Structure (Header, Body or Footer).

2. The current Images layout.

Also, you will be adding a Photo Album page with Photo Gallery layout of your choice.

You will add color, image and video to the page background. Also, you will control the settings of overlay a color, opacity & color and video.

You will be able to add Galleries from Wix and other service providers.

In this lecture you will: Add colors and animate shapes. -

Set a page to Hid/Show when still under construction

Have access to eternal site to access any given color by its Hexadecimal notation

You will be able to Add, Set and Change social media links on a page. Also, you will bulk social media icons to the desired page.

You will be able to Add Instagram and social media galleries.

Point of note: A mistake during recording! in the video I said lecture 13, Referring to a lecture should not be considered has been removed, sorry about that. 

You will be able to test your finished site on different browsers and take advantage of Wix mobile Editor to test your site on mobile devices.

 Test your finished Portfolio/CV on different browses and mobile n different browses and mobile devices for example use your own mobile to start with.

Instructions:

Use Wix Desktop and Mobile version facility to test your Published Portfolio/CV on different browses and mobile Devices. For example: Use Android, ISO Safari - Firefox, Edge, IE,etc.

You will be able to interact with Wix ADI to build your own blog from start to finish:

Preview and edit your site before you publish it.

Add a social network link such LinkedIn or your favorite one.

Pick your favorite site style, preview it and modified if needed.

Test and Check the first version of your live blog. 

You will be able to create a new post and category for your Blog.

You will be familiar with the Dashboard relevant areas to manage your blog e.g. Creating a new post.

You will be testing your blog after each modification you make and ensures that the look and feel is the same when you test your blog on mobile devices and different browsers.
